When You Need a Career Change

Have you ever changed your career before? How you know it is time to take a chance and shift to a new career? Here are a few signals that will indicate it is time you need a career change.
1. Feelings of walking on egg shells
Due to the economic crisis, a number of organizations are forcing their full-time workers to take part time or be laid off. If you are facing the great pressure of being hit by layoffs, you should start considering career changes.
2. Feelings of getting burned out
Sometimes, your job could be exhausted or depressing. After years of work, what you have been experiencing at work and the stress you are taking could pile up and turn out to be devastating. If you think you are burned out and cannot afford to take any more, you will need to make a change.
3. No passion for the job
Not everyone in the world could manage to have their dream jobs. Quite often, people will settle down for other options. However, if you don’t have the passion or eventually lose your passion for the job, you won’t last long on the job and enjoy your life. Then, you will need to think about changing to some career that will bring you back the joy and happiness.
4. Losing of your own identity
Some jobs could be demanding. It is likely that you will end up losing your relaxing weekday nights and weekend time. You might end up losing all your hobbies and gradually yourself due to dedication to your work.
