Ofcom Hints at Easing of TV Ad Restrictions‏

The broadcasting regulator–Ofcom, signalled that ITV and other commercial TV companies should be freed of some most burdensome advertising restrictions. The regulator is considering changing the emphasis in regulation from a presumption that airtime should be regulated to a presumption that it should not.
