Pension Experts Relieved on Pension Indexing

According to pensions experts, it is said that a change to the way pension promises are protected against inflation is likely to be far less sweeping, and hit the savings of employees far less drastically than many retirement experts initially assumed.
The announcement urged the advisers to plug in their own figures. Meanwhile, the employers’ group–CBI, welcomed the change but admitted that it was not going to be the cost saver for the private sector that some had assumed.
