The SanFrancisco-based company–Twitter, which started in 2007, has raised another GBP128million from venture capitalists, to help it grow without help from a Wall Street flotation.
The investment pushes the value of the microblogging site up a billion dollars, to GBP2.37bn. Twitter has also added two successful entrepreneurs, Mike McCue and David Rosenblatt, to its board of directors.
