An interviewer may ask you what your biggest achievements are. So, it is necessary to give this question some thoughts beforehand. Whether possible, keep most of your achievements work-related and focus on the benefits that you achieved for other people. Here we give some good examples.

1. Increased customer or client satisfaction.
2. Greater revenues or profits.
3. A bigger slice of market share.
4. The elimination of inefficiencies or errors.
5. Cost reduction.
6. Improved relationship morale within the team or with other stakeholders.
7. Enhanced reputation of your employer.

You should also remember that don’t just talk about what the achievement was. You will also need to explain why it was an achievement. You should clearly demonstrate to the interviewer exactly what you have done to make your action an achievement.

How to Talk about Your Biggest Failure during Interview

Friday, March 9, 2012 7:37
Posted in category Jobs

Talking about your own failure during a job interview could be nasty. Though honesty is a good trait, too much honesty can be your downfall when answering the question. The interviewers is setting you a bit trap to fall into. The way to fend off the question is by saying that you don’t think that you have ever had a great failure before.
However, saying that you have never failed is not a good enough answer on its own. So, actually, you should go on talking about some minor failure that you have experienced, perhaps a particular projection that didn’t go well or a piece of work that was not up to your usual high standards.
It is highly suggested to find an example of a situation that went badly due to unforeseen circumstances. And remember that never blame anyone else for the failure, as an interviewer can label you as someone who shirks responsibility and seeks to pint the finger at other people. And try to finish off your anecdote via talking about the lesson you took from it.

The Rise of the Digital Wallet

Digital-Wallet1

Paying have been growing along with the dramatic development of modern society.
Most of us have heard the credit card ads asking customers the question of “What’s in your wallet?” With the rise of mobile and online payments, it’s likely that the question will gradually turn in to “What’s on your smartphone?”
With the rise of Jack Dorsey’s Square and other mobile payment apps as well as mobile apps from eBay and many retailers, people today are experiencing a permanent change in the way they conduct commerce.
Due to the facts that virtually every store took credit cards, a lot of people are already walking around with little to even no cash in their pockets. Isn’t it resonable to assume that in a dozen years or so, the credit card will disappear and we all pay with our mobile devices?

JPMorgan Star to Launch its Own Hedge Fund

Posted in category News

A team of JPMorgan’s top proprietary traders is ready to launch what will almost certainly be one of the biggest hedge fund start-ups of this year, breaking with earlier plans to stay within the bank amid US regulatory changes.
According to people familiar with the case, it is indicated that Mike Stewart, JPMorgan’s global head of proprietary trading and former head of emerging markets, is set to start his own new hedge fund–Whard Stewart in the second quarter of 2012. It is expected that Mr Stewart’s emerging markets trading team at the bank will join him later. The news come in spite of word that US regulators will probably delay implementation of the so-called “Volcker rule”, under which banks are in effect banned from proprietary trading.
It is likely that Whard Stewart will attract wide interest from investors.

Apple began the revolution only four years ago when it made a toolkit available for third-party developers to create apps for its iPhone on March 6th, 2008. In the first four days, the kit was downloaded more than 100 thousand times and there were 800 apps available when the App Store opened its online doors in July 2008.
Nowadays, Apple have already sold 315 million iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. At the meantime, there are over 550 thousand apps developed by 248 thousand developers for these mobile devices.
Apple’s concept has been imitated by its competitors on the market place, such as Google, Microsoft, Research In Motion, Nokia, HP as well as Samsung, etc. According to the analysts in the field, it is pointed out that the company has actually managed to change the face of computing.
