Kingfisher

Kingfisher Airlines has been grounded since Monday due to strikes by workers, who have not received their salaries for seven months. According to the heavily-indebted airline, it was said that it did not expect to be capable of resuming flights until at least 12th of this month, or until the end of the strike. As a result, the troublesome airline have been accused of having failed to establish a “safe, efficient and reliable service”.
Indian aviation authorities are now asking the airline, to demonstrate why its licence to fly should not be suspended or cancelled, signaling the first move of Indian aviation authorities towards shutting down the carrier.
