How to Complain in the Workplace
Thursday, October 11, 2012 7:09Constant complaining in the workplace is toxic, as it can drain the happiness, motivation, creativity as well as fun from your office life. HR specialists in every company will pay attention to the employees that make constant complaints. If you are looking to avoid their “special attention”, you will need to know how to deal with complaints quickly and appropriately. Here are a few tips concerning making complaint at work place:
First of all, do not blurt out of complaints anywhere you go at any time. Take a breath to cool your mind and calm your emotion first. Then, think about how to select your words appropriately.
Secondly, do not complain in the office. You could do it outside your office when you are off.
Thirdly, do not complain about everything as that is really annoying.
Fourthly, it is important that you should complain with a smile on your face, as it shows your manner and magnanimity.
Fifthly, it is better to pick a time to let your emotion out than having bad mood shown on your face.
Last but not least, try to use the tone of launching discussions or making suggestions instead of the the tone of complaints.
