The Japanese manufacturer Honda unveiled its new zero-emission electric scooter. The EV-neo has a top speed of about 20 mph and a cruising range of 20 miles.
The company initially plans to target the domestic business customers like local takeaway delivery services. The EV-neo can recharge about 80% in 20 minutes from a special machine. Honda, which also makes the Insight hybrid car, could face fierce competition fom the Chinese, who are already churning out 22 million battery-powered bikes and scooters a year.
