Blogs emerged early. However, it was not until recently that they have grown absorbing audiences from the huge leap of Internet connectivity worldwide. This is due to the disaffection of other medias used, for instance Usenet on the one hand and the abandonment of the complexity of personal sites on the other. The first blogs appeared in the United States in the late 1990s. These blogs were presented in the form of diary listings in web pages (using a list of hyperlinks) that the bloggers for hire had found interesting, with commentaries.
