In the modern society, along with the improvement of living standard, people are paying greater attention to various health problems. Among all kinds of health problems, the sexual health has recently become top concern of many people.
The United States of America, as an outstanding pharmaceutical nation, spends billions of dollars on developing various cures to sexual dysfunction annually and it has become one of the core industries in the nation. Increasing amount of FDA-approved name medications for sexual problems are flooding the entire US market. Pushing pills has already been widely accepted by the public mass. The nation has been cultivating a national-wide obsession with sexual performance. Commercial boards, TV commercial, radio ads., on-line posters and fliers, are filling every corner of people’s daily life. Nowadays, it’s almost impossible for people to watch an animation without seeing various propagandas for Viagra. Behavior therapy has been gradually accepted and is playing a critical role among all kinds of treatments.
But just as every coin has its two sides, along with the economic boosting brought forwards by the pharmaceutical industry; series of consequent problems comes into being. There are increasing doubts upon the decency guardian in sexual problems in the United States of America. There are people with strong points on both sides of the debate.
