When making the purchasing decisions, most people rely on emotion-stirring factors. So,marketing must also make good use of emotion-stirring strategies to sell what people want, instead of what you think they “need” or want them to need. Logic marketing is far from enough.A powerful message can help create awareness in the public mass.
Knowing who the new customers are is just the first step to reach out to them, but learning the desire and motivation of the target audience will be more important for the business to find appealing element to marketing success. Without effective design of advertising campaigns, the conveyed tailored message may be easily forgotten by the target audience, and that’s one reason why many marketing campaigns simply fail.
Emotion plays an important role in influencing the success of marketing approaches in the marketing of business-to-customers and business-to-business alike.
The more the advertising message can be fine-tuned to appeal to the basic human emotions, the easier it will be to capture the attention of target audience. To make a successful emotion-stirring marketing plan, the first step in choosing message involves identifying what customers really want. To understand the basic desires of target customers may require a brainstorming session or two. Fear and greed can be the most common emotion-stirrers, which can be seen time and time again in mass marketing today.
Appropriate use of medium mix is also critic to stir desired emotions of the audience and make the business stick out from the crowd. There are different kinds of effective communication mediums that reach out to the target audience in the field, such as newsletters, brochures, websites, and even blogs.
