Pet breeding seems to be pretty easy. It seems like if you buy a female pedigree dog for GBP600, then do a stud deal with an owner of male dog and a few months later you have eight puppies, that could be sold for GBP 600 each. Wong! In the real world, earn via pet breeding is much more complicated.
Your dog need to get proper exercise, a good diet and will need vet treatment through its pregnancy. Then you have to think of what happens if things go wrong, such as the dog needs a c-section, which is extremely expensive, or rejects the pups or the new owners return the pubs as they have decided that they are not dog people. Go into this with immense caution. A profitable breeding program can take 15 to 20 years to develop.
