DIY Lunches Hot Up

The deep and long-lasting influence of economic recession has become a harsh reality for many people, especially lower-middle class households. People are cutting the overall costs in their daily life. Saving on eating is one of the most important aspects.
As a result, the packed lunch is enjoying a revival in these belt-tightening times as increasing amount of people are opting to take leftovers, homemade sandwiches and soups to work. Lunchboxes are no longer just for the kids. Large amount of savvy workers are now also using up the leftovers to make delicious snacks that cost next to nothing.
According to some latest data from a market research by Tesco, the sales of lunchbox have risen by more than 60%, while vacuum flasks are reporting an increase of 30% in sales over the past year.
