The Sophisticated Internet users know well that most online reviews are just bluffing. Just like other forms of advertisement approaches, they can not always trusted.
Nowadays, the Federal regulators are serving notice that if the bloggers are financially supported by the review are are writing, they need to keep their readers informed in advance. On Thursday, a California marketing firm had been fined for distributing misleading reviews about games in Apple iTune Stores, without disclosing that the reviews are paid to the readers.
It is a new set of guidelines for online endorsements. Usually, the guidelines are used as rules for the bloggers, and also cover anyone writing reviews on Web sites or promoting goods with social netwroking like Facebook or Twitter.
