British Airways Cabin Crew Start Strike Ballot

BA started training pilots and other staff as replacement flight attendants, as thousands of the airline’s cabin crew began voting on whether to strike over staff cuts. The United Union representing BA’s cabin crew claimed that only 216 people had responded to last week’s call from Willie Walsh for volunteers to help keep the loss-making airline flying in the event of a walk-out.
