BG Group Paid Its Boss £10.9m Last Year

The integrated oil and gas company—BP Group, reported a 74% leap in earnings and operating profits rose 65%. Meanwhile, its shares has fallen by 15%.
Chief executive of the Group—Frank Chapman, pocketed £10.9m in payment. It is revealed in the annual report and accounts of the group. It makes him the highest paid energy chief in the Footsie.
The bumper package covers a basic salary of £1m, a cash bonus of £838000, a £7.3m package of vested shares, as well as a £678000 pension top-up.
In the current economic environment, this package is pretty impressive.
