400 jobs could be saved as UK’s third largest driving school–the RED Driving School has been saved from the clutches of administrators by a last-ditch takeover by a private equity group.
The Private equity firm Kelso Place bought out LVG, which owns RED Driving School and RED Instructor Training, and announced that it had no plans for further redundancies on Red. According to David Downing, Red chief executive, it is said that as a result of Kelso Place’s investment, Red is now in a very strong financial position.
